Terms of Use

Plain-language ground rules for installing and running the Marquee Android TV client.

Effective: May 15, 2026

1. About this software

Marquee is a personal, non-commercial Android TV media client distributed as a sideload-only APK from marquee.danhorntx.com. It is provided free of charge, with no affiliated company, store listing, support contract, or service-level commitment.

2. You bring your own services

Marquee does not host, index, or serve any video content. It is a client that talks to services you choose to configure, including but not limited to:

You are solely responsible for choosing those services, for any accounts and payments associated with them, and for complying with each provider's terms. Marquee is not a party to those agreements.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use Marquee only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to access. You will not use the app to:

Anything you stream, download, or store through your configured addons and providers is your own responsibility.

4. No warranty

The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Builds may contain bugs. Features may change, regress, or disappear between versions.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the author of Marquee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Direct liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the app, which is zero.

6. Third-party trademarks

Marquee is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Stremio, Real-Debrid, TMDB, Google, or any rightsholder. All product names, logos, and brands referenced in the app or on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification.

7. Updates

New builds may add, change, or remove functionality. Released versions and what changed are listed on the Changelog. There is no guarantee that older builds will continue to work as third-party services evolve.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version always lives at this URL with an updated effective date at the top. Your continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
